MASALA IDLI

METHOD:

Heat the oil in pan, add mustard seeds, when it splutters, add chana dal, urad dal and fry for about 30sec.Add green chillis and Saute it and keep it aside.

In a mixing bowl add idli batter, grated carrot, chopped onions, cumin seeds, fried seasoning, cilantro/coriander leaves, and salt and mix well.


Grease the idli molds and pour laddle full of batter to molds and steam it in steamer or cooker for 10-12 min. Let it cool for few min.


Demold the idlis and serve Masala idlis with chutney and sambar.
TIPS:
you can make this Masala idli with left over batter.

ALOO METHI SOYA CURRY

Aloo Methi Soya curry is a very simple dish. It's healthy & good in protein. It can be used with chapati, poori,and  pulka etc. Here i used soya powder instead of soya chunks.
