2.Grind the soaked dal coarsely and add chopped
onions, curry leaves,chilies, cumin seeds, hing, grated ginger, salt and mix well.
3.Mix toor dal nicely and make small dumplings with the help of palm. Steam all the dal dumplings for 15-20 min in steam cooker.or till soft.
Nucchinunde
is ready to serve hot with ghee or Majjige huli/Tangy yogurt curry.
Tips:
You can add Shredded coconut to make Nucchinunde.
You can combine 2-3 combination of lentils/dal to make Nucchinunde
It’s good source of protein diet.
