ONION UPMA

METHOD:

1.Roast the Upma rava on medium heat till aromatic.Or till it slightly changes    its color, Switch off the heat and keep it aside to cool.
2.Heat the oil in separate pan, add mustard seeds when it splutters,add Channa dal, Urad dal and fry for 30 sec, add green chilies,Curry leaves, grated  ginger, and fry till light golden brown.
3.Add finely chopped onions and fry for 3-4 min till onions become transculant.
4. Add 2 cups of water and Salt,keep it boil for 3-4 min.
5.When water starts to boil pour roasted rava little at a time and mix   well.Reduce the heat,Cover with the lid for 2-3 min and cook.
6. When it is done, add grated coconut and coriander leaves and mix well.

7.Serve hot upma with ghee or chutney pudi.
TIPS:
Increase or decrease the quantity of green chilies according to your taste.

You can also add any  boiled vegetables to make upma.

TOMATO KAI GOJJU/ GREEN TOMATO CURRY

Palak soppina akki rotti/Palak/spinach rice flour rotti
