RAAGI ROTTI



 Preparation time: 15 min, Cooking time:2min for making 1 rotti,Yield:serves3      

 INGREDIENTS:

     METHOD:
1.  In a mixing bowl add Raagi flour, chopped dill leaves, curry leaves, coriendar leaves, chopped onion, and cumin seeds, green chilies, salt and mix it well with half glass of water little by little, Kneed well to make soft dough .

2.  Spread little oil on tava/griddle, take medium ball size raagi dough and place it on the center of griddle.
3.  Start pressing raagi dough gently from the center of the skillet consistently.
4.  Make a medium/large circle rotti,and small holes as shown in the picture.
5.  Drizzle ½ tsp of oil over and edges of rotti. cover with the lid, Switch on heat,place the griddle on stove and cook it for 1-2 min or till it  becomes brown and crispy.
6.It is almost half done.Check freequently.
7.Now it's ready to serve

TIPS:

     Fallow the procedure step by step to get crispy rotti on medium heat.

     If dough is sticking, make a wet hand and press the dough gently.

     If tava/griddle is hot to make another rotti, place it deliberately under  cold running water and take out.or use foil or wax papers.
