SOFT CHAPATHI



    Preparation time: 30 min, Cooking time: 25 min, Yield:Serves 4-5

INGREDIENTS:

MAKING CHAPATI DOUGH

 METHOD :

1.In a mixing bowl add flour, salt, oil by adding little water at a time mix well. Knead the dough 5-6 min continuously to make soft dough. Apply little oil and flour on the surface of dough. Cover and rest it for 15-20 min or more.

2.When the dough is ready to make chapatis, divide them into equal balls, cover and keep it aside. Flatten the divided dough and dust the flour on both sides.

    3.Roll the dough into small round shape, apply little oil on it, and fold it to make a small triangle.

4.Gently roll the triangle into 6-8 inch diameter evenly adding little flour.



    5.Heat the skillet,apply little oil on it,place the rolled chapatti dough on skillet.
   6.When Chapatti starts to bubble and puff up, flip the chapatti and roast     lightly on both the sides by applying little oil.

7.You can serve  hot chapattis with curry, dal or chutney. :)



   TIPS:
-       If you apply more flour for rolling, chapattis will become hard and dry.

    Roast the chapattis on medium heat to prevent from burnt.

    you can make roughly 8-10 chapattis with or without oil.
